- Is SnapStories free?
- Yes. SnapStories is free and funded by advertising on its content pages. There is no sign-up and no download limit for public content.
- Can I download private stories?
- No. SnapStories reads only content that Snapchat already publishes publicly. Private stories are not accessible to it, by design.
- Does the person know I saved their story?
- SnapStories does not log in as you, so it triggers no viewer notification. It also does not tell us who you are — we do not store the usernames you look up.
- Do you keep the files I download?
- No. The media streams through our edge Worker directly to your device and no copy is written to storage at any point.
- Why did my download link stop working?
- Download links are signed and expire after five minutes for security. Search the username again to get a fresh link.
- How do I request a takedown?
- Send a notice through the DMCA page. Reported accounts are added to our blocklist and stop resolving immediately.
