Terms of Service
By using SnapStories you agree to what follows. It is a short list because the service is small: you paste a public username, we fetch what Snapchat already publishes to anyone, and we hand it to you.
Public content only
SnapStories reads only what Snapchat serves publicly without a login. It cannot and will not access private accounts, friends-only stories, direct messages or anything behind authentication. There is no feature request that changes this.
What you may not do
Do not use this tool to harass, stalk or impersonate anyone; to collect content about a specific person against their wishes; to redistribute what you download as if it were yours; or to attempt to bypass any access control. Do not automate requests against the service.
Copyright stays with the creator
Downloading something does not give you rights to it. The person who made it still owns it. You are responsible for how you use anything you save, including where local law limits copying or republication.

SnapStories is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Snap Inc. Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc., used here only to describe what the tool works with.
No warranty, and it may stop working
The service is provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee that it is available, accurate or fit for any purpose. Snapchat can change its public pages at any time and break it without notice. We may block accounts, rate limit requests or withdraw the service entirely.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.
